CSIR NET in life sciences consists of 13 different units ranging from zoology , botany, environment , biotechnology to microbiology. Important topics will vary from person to person. Certain core topics to be focussed are highlighted in the points mentioned below:

  • JRF is the key to this paper and it is possible only when you have a hands on practice in subjects like biochemistry & metabolism , molecular biology, molecular techniques & genetics.
  • Ecology and evolution can make this paper easy to score and fetch a secure percentile.
  • System Physiology both plants & animals will also be a tough spot to crack.
