JEE Mains is the most difficult, followed by BITSAT and VITEEE, respectively. Every year, millions of students appear in JEE Main. While the number of seats available in old IIT and NIT is somewhere around 30,000. So, the selection ratio is around 0.025. This is why JEE Main is the most difficult compared to BITSAT and VITEEE. The video below compares the top Engineering Entrance Exams

Overall, BITSAT is easier than JEE Main, but the time constraint is a major challenge. VITEEE is the simplest out of these three and easier to score good marks.

It’s not the question paper that makes an examination tough. Rather it's the ratio of the number of seats available and the number of students taking the examination. The examination with the lowest ratio is most difficult irrespective of the question paper.

  • As per the current trends, the number of students taking JEE Mains examination is approximately 12 lakhs. While the total number of seats at old IITs and NITs will be around 30,000. So the ratio is 0.025, i.e. for every thousand applicants, there are 25 seats available. Which makes JEE Main pretty competitive.
  • If we consider all the branches at four campuses, the number of seats available is around 10000. While around 2 lakhs students apply for VITEEE. So, the ratio is 0.05. It is double of JEE Main, so you have a good chance of cracking it.
  • For BITSAT, the ratio is around 0.0067. As it is the lowest, it is considered to be the toughest examination among the mentioned examinations.

VITEEE, JEE Main, and BITSAT are conducted for undergraduate engineering courses. Every person has a different opinion on which exam is the toughest, thus, rather than worrying about the exam’s difficulty, focus on your preparation.

JEE Main:

  • It is one of the most competitive exams in India; it is the gateway to prestigious institutes like IITs and NITs.
  • Every year, over 8 lakhs applicants appear for the exam which makes JEE Main tougher and harder to crack than BITSAT or VITEEE.

VITEEE:

  • It is conducted annually by VIT University, Vellore for admissions to engineering courses.
  • The university registered over 2 lakh candidates for VITEEE which makes the entrance paper less competitive and easier than BITSAT and JEE Main.
  • Nevertheless, scoring in VITEEE is not easy. It requires dedication and practice.

BITSAT:

  • BITSAT is conducted by BITS Pilani and witnesses over 3 lakh eligible candidates every year for entrance to their undergraduate courses.
  • It is a tricky exam. Acing BITSAT is all about technique and speed.
  • If you have a good understanding of all the concepts then you can easily score well in BiTSAT. The difficulty level of BITSAT and JEE Main is on par with one another.
