According to the CEED website, you should have completed your degree/ diploma/ post graduate with a minimum duration of three years in a relevant field of study. This can include engineering, structure, design, or planning. Students who have completed the GD Arts diploma program (10+5) before July 2021 are also eligible to apply.

You have to clear your final examination before July 2021 to apply for the upcoming academic year. The eligibility criteria depend on the institute. Check the individual requirements of the design institutes you are looking to apply for.

Required Score:

If you have a minimum score of 7.0 from a branch of IIT, then you will be directly eligible to apply for CEED.

Registration Fee:

  • In order to register, you have to log into the CEED website online and fill out an application form with a non-refundable registration fee.
  • The registration fee is 1300 for female candidates and 2600 for all other candidates.

Age Limit:

  • There is no specific age limit to apply for CEED and students can appear for the exam multiple times.
  • The applications are done all through September to November.
  • You need to pay a late fee of INR 500 should you send in a late application.

These are the basic eligibility criteria to apply for the CEED examination. There are many good CREED coaching centers in Kolkata. You can opt for any of those to get expert instruction for clearing the examination.
