It would be suggested that UIET Chandigarh is a better option than CGC Landran for pursuing CSE based on the following reasons:

This ensures that you'll be studying in a crowd that is serious about their education and will motivate you to do your best as well.
The faculty at UIET is better as compared to CGC Landran, which is crucial when it comes to the quality of education you'll be receiving. The professors at UIET are knowledgeable and experienced in their respective fields, which means that you'll be getting the best possible guidance throughout your course.
UIET has a PU tag, which means that it is affiliated with Punjab University, one of the top universities in India. This ensures that you'll be receiving a quality education that is recognized throughout the country.
UIET is located in the main city of Chandigarh, which is a major advantage as you'll have easy access to various resources such as libraries, cafes, and other places that can help you unwind after a long day of studying.

Studied Mechanical Engineering at Chandigarh University (2019)

Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is one of the most in-demand subjects in India. One of my friends from UIET Chandigarh mentioned what lacks in their college and why CGC Landran will be a better choice.

B.Tech in CSE program of CGC Landran has already climbed up the ladder and the B.E. in CSE at UIET Chandigarh is still frozen to the ground.

The reasons are mentioned below:

UIET has a lot of internal politics involved which diverts the focus of students from studying. It is a kind of a public institution.
The campus of UIET is in the main city of Chandigarh and the CGC campus is in the outskirts of the city. Being in the outskirts, it has a larger campus area with all the necessary facilities and amenities like various food joints, sports facilities, etc. The campus of UIET is bland in front of the beauty of CGC Landran.
You will find students to be more disciplined in CGC as compared to UIET. They are quite irregular with their classes and lectures.
The faculty of CGC is available to help the students whenever they need. The lectures are also responsibly taken on a regular basis, unlike UIET.

CGC Landran builds the overall individual profile of the student along with academics and extracurriculars. There are various events held on a regular basis and students participate with enthusiasm. All these makes CGC Landran much better than UIET Chandigarh.
