How was the placement in IIT BHU Varanasi in 2019?

In 2019 the placement in IIT BHU was quite good, the overall placement rate was 71%. The training and placement cell started campus placement session for final-year students in December. The details for the same are as follows:

• Highest International Package - 1.53 Crore per annum.

• Highest Domestic Package - 1.03 Crore per annum.

• Average Package - 8.19 lakhs per annum.

Generally, 50% of students get pre-placement offers (PPO), and the other 50% placed in last semester. The placement in 2019 shows that almost 60% of students were already placed. A total of 1063 students was registered for placement drive in December 2019 and 762 students got placements. 71% of students got placed with average packages ranging between 10 LPA to 58.3 LPA. Four international positions were received by the students in 2019.

The top recruiters include Google, Intel, Oracle, Flipkart, Microsoft, Nvidia, Mathworks, HP, Samsung, Adobe, OYO, Reliance, CISCO, Amazon, VISA, Optum, Morgan Stanley, DE Shaw, MyKarma, Hindustan Unilever, Citicorp, Eaton, Policy Bazar, Yokogawa Electric, Mentor Graphics, Jaguar, Applied Material, American Express, Ab Inbev, VMock PA, Confluent, Mindtickle, Cohesity, Goldman Sachs, Uber, Nutanix, Zilingo BA, Mastercard, PhonePe BA, McKinsey, Bajaj, etc..
