Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. The current intake of students this year for the UG program is 780 seats. 

The department of electronics engineering from this university has produced some notable alumni. The alumni are currently holding illustrious positions in various MNCs like Apple, Facebook, Oracle, IBM, Intel, etc.
