Which is better for MCA, NIT Warangal or NIT Surathkal?

NIT Warangal ranks 26th in engineering by NIRF 2019 and provides excellent employment opportunities in many top IT firms. The current strength of the institute is 5010, with faculty members of 302. NIT Surathkal is ranked 21st in engineering by NIRF 2019. It is one of India’s leading engineering colleges with a student strength of 4688 and a faculty of 400 members. It is a pioneer institute having one of the best placement records. 

Admission process:

NIT Warangal

• The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics/ statistics/ computer application from any recognized university.
• The minimum marks required for this course is 60%. 
• The final selection of the candidates is a good mark in the NIMCET test. 
• The course fee required is INR 1.52 LPA. 
• The cutoff required is 97.

NIT Surathkal

• MCA candidates are selected based on the 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA obtained in BTech/BE/BCA course. 
• The final selection of the candidates is a good mark in the NIMCET test. 
• The cutoff required is 175.
• The fees required is INR 1.28 LPA. 

Placements:

NIT Warangal managed to provide job offers to 732 students with a highest package of INR 43.3 LPA. More than 177 companies visited the campus in 2020.

NIT Surathkal witnessed 100% placement in 2019 and the maximum average package offered by a company is INR 22 LPA. All the 98 students participated in the placement drive and got their desired job offers.
