Presidency University ranks 2nd in Karnataka when it comes to its Law School as announced by GHRDC ranking in 2019. The institute itself was founded in 2013 and is approved by the AICTE and UGC.

Placements:

  • Internships are available with government agencies, law firms as well as non-government organizations.
  • Students are also given exposure to handling cases through the means of moot courts.

About the course:

  • All programs include a mix of social sciences and law. Other topics that students will also learn include management sciences, economics and commerce.
  • As mentioned above, three different integrated courses are offered at the institute, all of which provide an in-depth understanding and minutest details of all different laws such as IPC, Family, Industrial and environmental, constitutional, which are basics in each course.
  • Students will develop multiple skills in advocacy, research, drafting and legal aid clinics, also honing their logical and critical legal reasoning.

Faculty:

  • All faculty at the school are highly experienced professionals with some of them having 13+ years of academic experience.
  • Many of them are PhD holders, some being legal associates with government and private organisations or retired judges.
