RVCE Bangalore is well-reputed in Karnataka with 74 ranks for BTech by NIRF 2020.
Admission:
RVCE has a mandatory criterion of 10+2 with 45% marks and qualified KCET exam. The cut off is between 271-232.
NIT Surathkal accepts 10+2 marks with JEE Mains Score. The cutoff ranges from 3378-5608.

RVCE is a good option with respect to the benefits it offers but the fee structure can turn out to be a deterrent. NIT holds a better hand as it provides an affordable fee structure along with good career opportunities in the electrical domain. It is among the top NIT institutes thereby adding reputation and goodwill at the same time.
