XLRI, XIMB, and XIME all three of these colleges are governed by the Jesuit Society. XAT is the common entrance examination for these institutes. Although XLRI conducts XAT, it doesn’t play any role in admission at XIMB and XIME. Some faculties of XLRI teach in XIMB and vice versa. Many visiting professors are also common to these three institutes.

XLRI has reportedly ranked 1st among the top private management universities by Outlook India 2020’s evaluation reports. XIMB has ranked 31st for its MBA program while XIME ranked 56th among the top MBA colleges in India by Business Today in 2019. XLRI and XIMB get together for various fests and activities and their way of conducting the fests seems to be similar.

Placement:

XLRI:

  • It offers 100% placements to the students. Some of the top recruiters are Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, Microsoft, are ITC, JP Morgan, Ramco Systems, Accenture, Sapient, ATG Tires, Lodha Group, RPG, Udaan, P&G, Colgate Palmolive, Ola, Myntra, Samsung, C K Birla, Power Finance Corporation among others.

  • The highest and medium salary packages remain to be around 50 LPA and 12-15 LPA.

XIMB:

  • Top recruiters who offer placement to XIMB students are Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, and more.

  • The highest and average salary packages remain to be around 24 LPA and 16 LPA.

XIME:

  • The XIME students receive job and internship opportunities from companies such as SBI, TCS, Airtel, Cognizant, HDFC Bank, CEAT, Wipro, PWC, Sonata Software, JLL, Mphasis, Lennox, Intellect, Tech Mahindra, and more.

  • The highest and the average offered salary package remain to be 11 LPA and 7 LPA.

Similarities:

In India, both XLRI and XIMB had been started by the Jesuit Society. The major common factor between all these institutes is that they are all part of the Xavier Academic Association Board or XAAB.

Considering these institutions have been formed by the Jesuit Society, having priests, fathers, and sisters inside the premises is another major factor which is similar in all these institutions.

However, all these institutes have separate examinations and interview procedures that the students have to go follow. In terms of their exams and interviews, they have no connection and follow their own subjective rules. Although XAT is the common entrance test that is conducted in all these institutes, the pattern, discipline, and mode of all the other internal exams are different.
