How is the M.Tech in VLSI in NIT, Rourkela from a placement point of view? How are the professors?

NIT Rourkela has one of the biggest and most beautiful campuses in India. The scenario at MTech in VLSI specifically can be understood through the points below

• Faculty : The professors are experienced in their respective fields but the extent to which you can seek help from them depends on your willingness and passion.
• Infrastructure : The labs are equipped with all necessary instruments and other things like raw materials, machines, and software. Students are free to conduct research as per their will. 
• Placements: Sadly no or very few VLSI core jobs are offered through campus placements. Most students end up with software jobs. 

Overall, MTech in VLSI from NIT Rourkela is not very promising considering the limited opportunities and scope.
