DTU Software Engineering is just an alternative to CSE, the prospects and curriculum being quite similar. The branch has many good professors under whom students dream to work. The professors are actively involved in research work and have a few publications. But the classroom sessions are poorly held and do no good to the students in uplifting their academics. With the right set of specialized skill sets that align with certain US companies, you can even get the opportunity to work there
The branch will give you enough time to determine your inclinations. The lab facilities of the branch are top notch and the systems are updated frequently. However, the software is obsolete so it's better to carry your own laptops. You can use IDEs and tools that are at par with recent trends to make the most of the lab sessions.
At DTU, it's your own willingness, passion, and determination that drives you to excel. You should try your best to stand out in the crowd especially if you are targeting foreign companies.
