In between SGS ITS Indore and IET DAVV which one is better for Civil Engg?

SGSITS and IET DAVV, both are equally good options but here, we are going to analyse the two concerning different categories. For those who hold a keen interest in Civil can opt for it.

Placement

• IET DAVV and SGSITS both provide 100% placement opportunities to its students.
• A huge amount of companies visit the campuses every year. SGSITS receives firms like Goldman Sachs while IET DAVV receives firms such as VMware, etc.
• As SGSITS is a very old and renowned college, it has an upper hand because of its humongous alumni network. No placement data is provided by IET DAVV, on the other hand.

Campus

• As opposed to the Placement category, IET DAVV stands apart when it comes to the campus environment.
• The College conducts so many events from Day 1, namely - Engineer’s Day, Welcome Party, Invento, etc.
• Although both the colleges are in the centre of Indore, IET DAVV stands apart because the Campus has a lake which adds to its beauty.
• In SGSITS, the girls’ hostel is at some distance from the campus, which is quite a con.

Faculty: A huge amount of professors of SGSITS have their degrees from previous IITs or IISC while not many professors at IET DAVV are from IITs or IISC.

Both the colleges stand apart in different aspects and are good within their sphere. SGSITS still seems to be better by a mark but ultimately it is you who knows which option is better.
