IIM Shillong has launched a business management certificate curriculum for military personnel.The six-month certificate program is designed to provide executives with comprehensive company management training in analytical, strategic, and entrepreneurial thinking. It seeks to close the knowledge-action gap while also managing the changing dynamics of the military and commercial sectors.

The course seeks to emphasize experiential learning to the Indian defense forces, which are among the best in the world and are recognized for their competence, prowess, morality, size, and technology, through interactive lectures, case studies, sessions with industry experts, management games, simulations, and student participation.
