The theoretical and practical exams at MAKAUT each carry 100 marks individually. The breakdown for the theory exams is as follows

Theory

Attendance	5 marks
Attendance	10 marks
Class Test	15
University Exam	70 marks
Total	100

So, as per the breakdown, 30 marks account for the internals and 70 for the externals in the theory exams of MAKAUT

Practical

Attendance + Lab Performance + Lab Copy (Internal)	40 marks
Lab/Experiment Performance	20 marks
Data Tabulation in Answer Script	20 marks
Viva Voice	20 marks
Total	100 marks

As per the above breakdown, 40 marks are for internals and 60 for external in the practical exams of MAKAUT.

Please note that this pattern is common to all theory and practical subjects in the MAKAUT syllabus.
