During the 2023 placements, the overall average package of the MBA batch 2021-23 was INR 10.42 LPA. The average package increased by 19.63% from INR 8.71 LPA in 2022.

The overall IBS average CTC for the 2020-22 batch is INR 8.71 lakhs and the highest domestic salary package is INR 21 lakhs. While the highest international salary package is INR 53.45 lakhs.

The ratio of salary between the batch is like

Top 200 students - 7.5 lakhs. In hand was mostly 50k/- month after tax, pf, gratuity
Next 500 students - 4.5–6 lakhs - In hand 35k/- month
Remaining: up to 4.5 lakhs or unplaced. In hand minimum 25k/- month

My friend got placed decently while at IBS Hyderabad. Some major highlights of the placement scenario then were

People who started with good brands and salaries but below-average job profiles remained stuck for several years
The profile of the candidates mattered the most during placements. Anyone with skills that are in demand can claim a good position in the corporate world.
Many students, especially girls who left India to pursue MS in MIS, etc are earning 100k+ USD.
Many students who initially started with a sales job, switched domains and are now earning 20+ LPA
