KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR) is a well-regarded institution, and it offers courses in various specialisation. Several aspects of pursuing a degree from an accredited university like KJ Somaiya are as follows:

Courses offered: KJ Somaiya is known for its quality education and rigorous academic programs. It offers PG courses to students across Sports Management, General Management, and various other streams.

Pedagogy: The pedagogy here includes classroom learning, workshops, field visits experiential learning, simulations. Apart from these, conferences and guest lectures from industry experts add to the quality of education here.

Student-driven committee: "Quantinuum- The Quants and Analytics Committee" is one of the distinctive aspects of KJ Somaiya. It seeks to address the most recent developments in the fields of data analytics and quantitative methodologies while also teaching students the technical know-how needed to succeed in the field.

Recognition: The college has recently become autonomous so an MS would not be a good option from here. It is yet to receive recognition from foreign universities.

Placements: The placements here are average. IT placements are the best here. Apart from these, Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering has also seen a surge in placement figures. Mechanical engineering students usually receive a package ranging from 3-5 LPA.

Faculty: The mechanical engineering faculty here is exceptionally good and supportive. 

Infrastructure: The campus is huge with many amenities.

Exposure: The councils, workshops, and internships offer great exposure leading to overall profile development.
