When it comes to B.E program, there are typically two papers that you will have to deal with at RGPV University: theory and practical. RGPV is similar to CBCS in that you can choose your own pool of subjects from a list of subjects that you will have every year.

In addition, the marking scheme has undergone significant changes. The theoretical exam papers are now worth 60 points and usually carry three credits. The remaining 40 marks are assigned by the respective colleges and are based on your mid-semester exams, assignments, and projects.

A minimum of 31% is required to pass a theory exam in any subject. Because the pattern of questions asked in the exams is simple, further simplifying it means you need to answer completely 1 out of 5 questions and half of the second question to pass with minimum marks.
