Is NMIMS's PGDM better in Bangalore or Hyderabad?

NMIMS has seven campuses and the most popular campuses are Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. While both Bangalore and Hyderabad campuses have a lot of common features, they have distinctions at the same time. NMIMS, Bangalore is ranked 29th out of 284 for MBA by India Today and 104th out of 155 for MBA (Top Private Colleges in India) by Outlook. NMIMS, Hyderabad was ranked 4th out of 159 for MBA (Top Private Colleges in India) by Business World.

Infrastructure and Facilities

• Bangalore: The campus offers hostels and related facilities, air-conditioned classrooms which are wi-fi and audio-visual media enabled, sports and sports committee, library with 6349+ books and 133049+ e-books.
• Hyderabad: The Hyderabad campus offers students a library with 10000+ books, wi-fi enabled learning rooms, conference/MDP rooms, computer centre, labs, rooftop cafeteria, recreation room, seminar hall, etc.

Scholarships: Both campuses offer scholarships under the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for college and university students. Scholarships are provided to handicapped and/or economically weaker students. The value of the aid amount varies according to the course pursued.

Placement Statistics

• Bangalore: 100% of students were placed in companies such as VMware, H&M, Nivea, IBM, OYO, Kotak, etc. 19 pre-placement offers were made as well. The highest and average packages offered were 21.38 LPA and 10.5 LPA, respectively.
• Hyderabad: 100% of the students were placed and 170 offers were made by 45+ companies such as Amazon, Bajaj Allianz, Deloitte, DHL, ICICI Bank, etc. The highest salaries offered were 16 LPA (Domestic) and 32 LPA (International). The average salary offered was 9.3 LPA.

Both the Bangalore and Hyderabad campuses of NMIMS are reputed and have their own set of advantages and shortcomings. Students must compare the two carefully, based on other parameters as well, before choosing one.
