Among the two campuses, SRM Ghaziabad is older than SRM Sonepat. As a result, the brand value and alumni of SRM Ghaziabad are also better.SRM Sonepat is also a decent choice. The best part of the institute is its placement along with training, which adds value to the overall value of your resume and makes getting a job very easy.

As far as CSE is concerned, both the campsites have equally good infrastructure and well-equipped labs. Still, your first preference should be Ghaziabad.

For CSE, SRM Ghaziabad is better. The Ghaziabad campus is old and offers better lab facilities, faculty, placements, and alumni network.

According to the placement highlights of the department, around 95% of the students get placed each year. SRM Ghaziabad CSE average package is around INR 3.5 LPA.

Situated near the Delhi NCR region, it also has a locational advantage. It’s easier to get placement and internship opportunities.

SRM Ghaziabad is ranked at 32 in the All India University ranking by NIRF in 2019 with a placement rate of 80% in 2020 within the CSE department. SRM Sonepat offers nearly 70% placement rate in the CSE department and is counted amongst the top private university campuses in India.

For better understanding, let us draw a comparison between the BTech in CSE program offered by both the institutions:

Course Specialisation:

Apart from offering a 4-year full-time general degree in CSE, SRM Ghaziabad offers a BTech in CSE with a specialization in Cyber-security.
SRM Sonepat on the other hand offers a general CSE degree and a specialization degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. It also offers a specialization in the cloud and mobile-based applications in association with IBM.

Faculty:
