What is the backlog ATKT limit at MSU Baroda?
At MSU Baroda a maximum of 2 ATKT is allowed at the end of the year. If you have more than 2 ATKT, you will have to repeat the year. If you have any ATKT from the first year pending, after 2nd year, you won’t be able to continue to 3rd year. You need to clear the pending ATKTs to enter 3rd year. It’s the same in 4th year, it’s called the golden ATKT. At MSU, failure in viva is also counted as ATKT.

In MSU Baroda, there is no system of backlogs. You will directly get ATKTs. If you have more than 2 ATKTs at the end of year, you will be detained for a year.
- The college has two exam schedules in a year in November and April-May.
- If you failed in the subjects of the 1st semester of any year, you have to take your exams of those subjects again during April along with the subjects of 2nd semesters.
- In the end, if you get more than 2 ATKTs, you will have one year off.
- During this year, you have to clear off your ATKTs during November or April exams. Only then you will be promoted in the next year.
- As 1st year has no internal exams, you have to attend 100 marks papers for both regular and ATKT.
- From 2nd year, you will have a regular exam of 80 marks (+20 of internals) and an ATKTs exam of 100 marks.
- If you get ATKT in Viva then you will have to take viva next year.
If you have any single ATKT of the 1st year, pending, then you won't be able to enter in 3rd year. You will be detained after 2nd year and until you clear your ATKTs of 1st year. Similar to the 4th year.
If you got ATKT in the final year exam (7th and 8th sem) you can give exams in all the subjects or if you give exams in each subject you got less than 50 marks.
