RECOGNITIONS:

• The University has been recognised by UGC .
• Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) Recognition: On receiving this recognition, PDPU is entitled to all administrative support from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
• NAAC Accreditation: PDPU has been Assessed and accredited with ‘A’ Grade & CGPA of 3.39/4.0 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
• Member of the Association of Indian Universities.
• Member of the Institute of International Education (IIE, US).
• GPCB(Gujarat Pollution Control Board) Empanels PDPU as Scheduled I Environmental Auditor.
• Approval of the Technical Education programmes by AICTE.

ACCREDITATIONS:

• National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has accredited B.Tech Mechanical Engineering Program.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Approved as “Technology Business Incubator” by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
• PDPU has been awarded as the “Best Performing Private University” under Private University category at the SSIP Annual International Conference on Student innovation, start-up and Ecosystem-2019 organized by the Education Department, GoG.

• PDPU IIC is also recognized as “Incubation Centre of the Year with Prominent IP Culture” by Intellectual Property Protection Organization (IPPO) in IP Fest for 3 years in a row, 2017, 2018 & 2019.
• The SWAYAM-NPTEL PDPU local chapter has been rated with AA grade among 2805 such local chapters in the Country, and thereby it has stood among one of the Top 50 chapters across the country.

FACULTY ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Dr. Tanushri Banerjee awarded 4th Venus International Women Awards - VIWA 2019, selected as 'Distinguished Woman in Management' (Major Area of Study - Decision Science) in February 2019.
• Dr. Anantha Singh received 'Early Career Research Award' for the project titled “Integrated electro-oxidation, electroreduction and electro-coagulation process for the degradation of Ammoniacal nitrogen in the presence and absence of carbon based pollutants” from SERB.
• Dr. Samir Patel elected Chairman for CSI Ahmedabad Chapter from 1st April 2019.
• Dr. Anirban Das received Bharat Vikas Award by Institute of Self Reliance, Bhubaneswar.
• Dr. Manoj Pandey and Dr. Rajib Bandopadhyay are recognized as a Schedule-I Environmental Auditor by Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB).
