For BA (Hons) in Economics, PGDAV is the best option among these, in terms of academics, student crowd, infrastructure, placements, and extracurriculars. The Economics department of PGDAV boasts of a dedicated faculty pool. The environment on campus is competitive and inspires motivation. It has a decent placement record. According to the recent highlights of PGDAV placements, the median CTC offered is around INR 3.30 LPA.

Among the institutions mentioned above, the things that determine a college to be good are:

  • In Zakir Husain Delhi College (ZHDC) the economics department is divided. Due to some professors' favor for groupism affects the department as a whole.
  • PGDAV is said to be free of such division or groupism formed among both teachers and students.
  • The last fest of ZHDC was an Economics Symposium held in 2015. After that no fest ever took place here.
  • The teachers and the administration does not encourage conducting fests or extracurricular activities.
  • In PGDAV fests and cultural activities are supported and are given proper time and attention.
  • PGDAV has better placements than ZHDC.
  • PGDAV also has a better student crowd compared to ZHDC.
  • The batch size of PGDAV is huge compared to ZHDC.

Students at PGDAV are very competitive. They are excellent in debates, very studious and have performed well to maintain the reputation of the college. They also have a well maintained infrastructure. The only thing that is better about ZHDC is its location. Therefore it is suggested that you go for PGDAV.
