Admission into UG courses of Anna University is done through the Single Window Counselling system conducted after the declaration of Higher Secondary Exam results.

Based on the marks scored in Maths, Physics and Chemistry a rank list is created. Then, a rank and reservation category students will be allotted a seat.

Getting into Anna University, Guindy campus needs a higher cut-off: Mostly 199 out of 200 and above all the time. Remember that your 12th marks (more precisely in PCM) are taken into consideration. You can apply for admission to AU through TNEA counseling.

Your PCM cutoff should be high for getting admission in the most preferred batches like CSE, IT and ECE in Anna University’s main campuses(CEG, MIT and ACT).
