How is the placement of civil engineering in Jadavpur University, West Bengal?

The placement record for Civil Engineering at Jadavpur University is not great. For a decent job offer in the placement drive, you will need to top your batch or have to be within the top 10 students in your class. The initial pay scale may not be that attractive, but you can expect to receive a good CTC, once you get experience. 

The initial salary package for Civil Engineering is around 3-5 LPA. The placement scenario for branches like Civil is similar in other reputed institutes like IIT KGP. Only after doing your M.Tech from reputed IITs or NITs, you can expect a good salary package.
