The syllabus for the entrance exam in Lucknow University for B.Sc. Maths is:

• The entrance test will consist of 100 objective-type questions to be answered in 90 minutes.
• The marking Pattern for each question will be of 4 marks. 
• 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer and 0 mark will be awarded for each unattempted question.
• In the entrance test, there will be questions from subjects that are taught at the intermediate level in various boards like UP board, ISC, and CBSE.
• B.Sc. (Mathematics Group) questions will be asked from - Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics.
• In the entrance test, there will be questions from subjects chemistry, physics, and maths, that are taught at the intermediate level in various boards like State Board, ISC, and CBSE.

For General and Other Backward Classes, you must secure at least 40% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, a minimum number of marks obtained should be 33% based on total marks of all subjects.
