Is the JIPMER exam easy?

In terms of difficulty, JIPMER is quite easy. Most of the questions asked in JIPMER are even easier than NEET.

•  JIPMER syllabus is based on the Tamil Nadu state board syllabus, so for CBSE students, it will be quite easy. However, you may need insights into the topics that are exclusive to the Tamil Nadu state board. 
• 10 questions are from English and 10 questions are from Logical Reasoning and unlike AIIMS GK, you don’t need to prepare separately for it. 
• JIPMER changed their marking system a few years back and now they have negative marking.

Although the difficulty level is not that much for the JIPMER exam, what makes getting admission tough is the limited number of seats. Unlike AIIMS, JIPMER doesn’t have many branches. Even after the addition of a new campus, the number of seats is very less for general category students. It is around 150 and the acceptance rate is ~0.15%.
