Haldia Institute of Technology is a good college with good value for money and lively campus life. It is excellent for the CSE program. However, it is entirely up to you how you utilize it. If you can do self-study and learn new things on your own, you will be very successful in any field.

Nevertheless, most recruiters come to the college for recruitment. Some local startups may also attend, but the package may not be as generous. It is advised that you do not wait for a company and instead go off-campus.

According to my friends studying at Haldia Institute of Technology, it is a very good college to pursue CSE.

  • The placements of this college are one of the best.
  • Top companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, CTS, and TechMahindra visit the campus for placements and offer good packages.
  • But if you are expecting that at the end of 4 years to learn new skills, you might be disappointed, as the academic environment is not very engaging.
  • The faculty is average.
  • The students of the CSE branch are very talented, but the college is failing in utilizing them and giving them the opportunity they deserve.
  • The students are hard-working and have secured jobs in 500 companies such as Intel Security, SAP Labs, Manhattan Associates, and Broadcom.
Categories CSE at Haldia Institute of Technology
Placement Percentage 94%
Highest CTC 18 LPA
Average CTC 10 LPA
Lowest CTC 4 LPA

Hence, the academic facilities and faculty are not very good in this college, but if you work really hard then you are very likely to get placed in one of the reputed companies.
