How is Karunya University in Coimbatore?

According to some of my friends studying at Karunya University in Coimbatore, it is a very popular university with a great location. Here are some things you should know about the institution.

• The environment of this college is very beautiful. It is surrounded all over by greenery and a peaceful climate.
• The facilities provided at this college are good. 
• The laboratories for the mechanical and food processing branch are really top-notch. All the latest machinery and equipment are available inside the laboratories.
• Ragging is strictly prohibited and is a punishable offense, unlike other universities.
• The quality of staff is very poor and the university can sometimes be very conservative. 
• The faculty performance is average. 
• The students don't receive any kind of support or recognition if they have achieved something. 
• There is not any portion of technology and innovation in the course curriculum. 
• They tend to encourage theoretical knowledge without focusing on the practicals. 

Hence, there is no quality education or better support provided to the students and neither are the faculty members well qualified and experienced. But the environment of this college is very good and the lab facilities provided are also decent.
