Yes, pursuing Advanced Construction Management program from NICMAR is a good decision. ACM is the flagship program of the institute. It has a good placement record. Students of ACM get placed in every area of the construction sector. NICMAR Pune placements show an average package of INR 6.75 LPA. Usually, the top job roles offered are in project management, project controls, contracts, valuation, etc.

One of my friends had done NICMAR-PGP Advanced Construction Management in batch 2012-14.

First of all, it is not very difficult to get into NICMAR Pune. For the selection process, you have to appear in a written test followed by a personal interview. The interview is usually technical and HR-based.

If you are willing to join PGP ACM in NICMAR Pune which normally is preferred by Civil Engineering Graduates the competition might be somewhat tough.

You should analyze certain facts before joining NICMAR:

Reason for choosing NICMAR
Hefty fee structure
Education loan plans
Chances of getting selected

Here are the placement stats:
