O P Jindal Global University offers a well-designed MA in Public Policy. The faculties have good experience in teaching and research. If your goal is to work in corporate jobs, research institutions, think tanks, etc. the institute can give you decent exposure. They have extensive industry reach and a large alumni network.

NLSIU Bangalore is among the top-most law schools in the country and offers excellent academics in Law. If you want to have an academic-oriented career in Public Policy, then you should prefer NLSIU over O P Jindal.

OP Jindal is definitely a good institute for your MA.

  • If you compare the faculty of both OP Jindal and NLSIU, they are equally good.
  • The next thing to consider is the admission process. NLSIU has a very demanding admission process as it involves an all-India aptitude examination and interview rounds, making it very competitive. Although, NLSIU can justify this rigor as it is one of the best institutes in India and it also has an unmatched reputation too.
  • OP Jindal on the other hand can also be praised for the exposure they provide their students. In fact, they have a rather wide industry reach and their students are exposed to distinguished jurists and members of the legal community, prominent law academicians, and a very extensive array of alumni.

However, if your final goal is to specialize and be part of the public policy-making circles, NLS should be given more preference. And if your focus is to get educated for the purpose of working at corporates, enterprises, think-tanks, both colleges are at par. So, you can choose whichever of these options according to your career goals.
