If the job opportunity offered at the end of an Executive MBA from IIM Kozhikode is less than what you are already earning, it’s not logical to invest 20 Lakhs and gain nothing in return. However, irrespective of your current package, an Executive MBA is a unique qualification and will help you for further growth.

There are many institutes that offer Executive MBA at lesser fees than IIMs. Listed below are some of the top institutes offering Executive MBA courses in the country along with the fees charged by them

Before doing an MBA or an executive MBA from any institute, you should be clear of the purpose of doing this at this stage.

Before taking any decision, take a look at the placements. If the average salary of the college is below or similar to what you are getting currently, then it is not worth it to pursue MBA.
IIM Kozhikode has an average salary of INR 15 LPA and you are earning the same then there is no point in investing 1 year and 20 lakhs on this course.
If you are planning to switch your domain from Marketing to IT, then it will be pretty difficult after such a long experience in one particular domain.
IIM Kozhikode can help in gaining knowledge with a good network through Executive MBA. But with such great experience, you can try for a good institute such as HBS, Wharton, INSEAD, or at least IIM Ahmedabad.

IIM Kozhikode is a good university with a good reputation. But if you are looking for quality education and some CV points, look for opportunities abroad. If your current salary is very low compared to IIM Kozhikode’s average salary, then only consider joining it, otherwise do not waste your time and money.
