If you are from Civil Engineering background, then spending over 10 lakhs for a NICMAR degree will be worth the investment. The institute offers good placements for civil engineers. Recent NICMAR placements had an average CTC of around INR 6.75 LPA. Also, they provide the best case-study-based learning experience which will help you acquire industry-relevant knowledge and skills.

If you have other options such as IIMs, Jamnalal Bajaj, TISS, XLRI, IIT D, NITIE, then NICMAR would not be a good option. But if you are a civil engineer and want to be in this field then it is surely worth it to spend 12 Lakhs here.

There are over 100 firms visiting campus for placements and they offer great packages ranging from INR 5-15 LPA. The job profiles offered range from site execution, marketing, contracts, planning, design, etc.

The ROI at NICMAR is low and it is about 0.5-0.6 but the exposure is great. After a few years, you will surely get the benefit of being a NICMARian only if you are from Civil engineering or from Architecture background.
