Bachelor of Technology Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (2021)
The admission to the institute is based on JEE Advance cut-offs. So, it is a tough nut to crack. The following are things to be considered.
Faculty: IIT Ropar has an excellent faculty, especially in the CSE department. The faculty: student ratio is 1:8. The professors have vast experience in the industry.
Facilities: Recently, it has shifted to the new permanent campus in Rupnagar. There are four hostels in IIT Ropar. Three are for boys, and one is for girls. The total capacity is 380 students. The best part is that it is one hour drive from the city, Chandigarh. So, you can have weekend fun traveling to nearby cities like Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, and more.
Placement: The highest package offered in 2021 is 18 LPA while the average package is 12 LPA
Safety: IIT Ropar is away from the chaos of the city. It is in a peaceful and serene place. There is no much pollution, and you can enjoy your evening walks.
