The section of verbal ability in the IPM-IIM Examination has a total of 40 questions that are one mark each. The sectional time given to attempt this section of the examination is 45 minutes. The topics that are usually repeated every year in this section of the examination include:

• Reading Comprehension
• Para jumbles
• Sentence Completion
• Idioms and Phrases
• Synonyms and Antonyms

To prepare yourself for this section, give 1-2 hours per day to brush up on your verbal ability skills. This time would be sufficient for your preparation including vocabulary and practice sessions.
