How is the life of IPM IIM Indore students different from the life of students at IIT or NIT?

Works at Students

Because there are only 120 students, students will not be able to interact with students from different cultures, as opposed to engineering colleges, where there are 1000-2000 bachelor students, giving them the opportunity to interact with students from different cultures and organize a large number of events, cultural fests, sports events, concerts, and so on, thus enjoying college life. In terms of sports, IIM Indore offers the most options among all IIMs. Because the batch size is small, all students have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the fests and gain hands-on experience.

Cultural diversity is outstanding. If you want, you can learn a lot of languages in 5 years. Such a curriculum is not available anywhere else.

As some of my friends studied at IIM Indore, I can give you a brief peek into their lives and how different it is from the students of IIT or NIT.

Diversity –

The diversity of the batch is amazing in terms of geographical location, ethnicity, educational background, extra-curricular activities, etc.
IPM is represented by 20 out of the 29 states in India.
They also have international students from the UAE.
Students from various educational backgrounds such as arts, commerce, and science can be found here.
Students here also have various extra-curricular activities like dancing, painting, singing, and even boxing.

Classes –

The professors are highly educated and cooperative.
Some professors are really strict while some are more friendly.
You will have to actively participate in the class discussions so that you will learn with arguments.
The professors will moderate the proceeding but they will be passively monitoring you.
The class is filled with more than 60 talented students, so you have to sweat it out to get noticed.

You will be exhausted to your core after a day is complete and this will continue for the next 5 years of your life. But you will learn a lot of things and it will be worth the effort.
