Why is NITIE Mumbai so underrated?
There are 3 main reasons why NITIE Mumbai is so underrated
- The lack of a popular tag like IIT or NIT makes NITIE a less preferred and known Institute among the institutes of the country.
- Another major reason for NITIE being unpopular is because it's a government institute and unlike private institutes, it is not advertised in every magazine.
- Since only engineers are allowed, there is a monotony in the candidate pool. Talented individuals who are non-engineers are not considered which restricts the quality of peers.
Ultimately, it's the input and output which is valued by people. NITIE has quality input and output as domain expertise of Management who can do anything. So I wouldn’t consider it undervalued just not overhyped.
