PGDPM from National Institute of Industrial Engineering (2019)

Here is the profile of one of my friends, who got admission to NITIE PGDIE a few years back.

  • Gate PI Score - 721, Gate rank - 35
  • 10th - 93 %
  • 12th - 92 %
  • Graduation - 78 % (B.Tech Production and Industrial Engineering)
  • Work Experience - 32 months (Bajaj Auto)

She was shortlisted for PGDIE in the very first round. As per the recent year trends, the NITIE PGDIE Gate cutoff stays around 717.

PGDPM from National Institute of Industrial Engineering (2019)

My brother has been a graduate of a PGDPM course from NITIE and not one of the PGDIE courses which are offered by the institution. With his permission, I am sharing his scores and percentages with you for this answer.

His scores are mentioned down below: -

Particulars Marks Secured
10th Standard Acquired Score (High School) 9.6 CGPA (CBSE)
12th Standard Aggregate Percentage (10+2) 81.2% (CBSE)
B.E. Overall Percentage Score (Electronics and Communications Engineering) 79.1 % (RGPV Bhopal)
The score obtained in the GATE Examination of the year 2016 804
  • If you have acquired a score above 750 in the GATE Examinations then you surely can get a call for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview round from NITIE.
  • However, it is mandatory that your 10th, 12th & Engineering percentages are more than 60 as per the eligibility criteria laid down by the institution.
  • Your acquired percentages would not decide the overall possibility of your admission at NITIE.
  • Certain other factors are also involved in the process.
  • High percentage scores are always good to have irrespective of your educational field or goals.

I hope this answer would help you in estimating the score and percentages obtained by students enrolled in a PGDIE course at NITIE.
