Is BITS Goa a tier 1 institute (be honest)?

According to the personal experience of one of my friends, BITS Goa neither comes under Tier-1 nor is referred to as Tier-2 college. Rather it is better to say that BITS Goa is transitioning from Tier-2 to Tier-1.

Since the campus of BITS Goa is small and not that much developed as everything needs time to establish but 80% of the things are referred to as tier 1. While the campus of BITS Pilani is well-established due to which it is very popular among students in terms of everything and is considered a Tier 1 college.

Nowadays the campus of BITS Hyderabad is also gaining attention as the location of the college is one of the major advantages along with the huge campus area and very attractive infrastructure.

The rest of the features including curriculum designed for the students, type of faculty for each course, hostel rules as well as campus rules, various clubs, events organized, internship opportunities, and placements, are the same in all the three campuses.

Last but not least we can say that though the campus of BITS Goa is in transitioning phase from tier 2 to tier 1, the entire feature is the same as that of the BITS Pilani campus and is preferred by most of the students especially from Computer Science background.
