DTU CSE placements are at the same level as top IITs and NITs. The pavement percentage is usually 100% and the maximum recruiters come for software profiles. I have tabulated DTU CSE average package statistics for both BTech and MTech.

In 2020-2021 placements, DTU CSE average package was INR 16-17 LPA. Here are the placement details for the branch.

The average placement package at DTU for a CSE undergraduate is 7-9 lakhs. But the average salary is not a decent parameter for judging the placements of any institute. As the calculation of average includes overseas placements as well. The package for those is in crores and that inflates the average amount.

On the other hand, there are also students who get placement packages below the average amount and there are also people who don’t appear for placements as they have plans for higher studies. However, medians are a better way to judge and the median for CSE at DTU is 9-10 lakhs.

In the most recent i.e. batch of 2020’s placement session, the highest package (domestic) for CSE students was 40 LPA and 122 students got placed from CSE alone. DTU has a very dedicated placement cell and thus, major companies like Amazon, Bain & Company, Bank of America, DE Shaw & Co visit the campus placement.
