One of my friends did the BUsiness Analytics Intelligence executive education course from IIM Bangalore and was able to provide some information regarding the course.

Pros of BAI course at IIMB -

You will get to learn from the same faculty who teach in the degree programs.
You will have the chance to network with professionals from diverse backgrounds like mechanical engineers, sales professionals, data scientists, and research associates.
The skillset you obtain in the BAI course will prepare you for managerial roles that require a deep understanding of analytics, both technically and strategically.
The entry criteria are strict and this ensures a quality peer group.

Cons of BAI course at IIMB -

You will not have the opportunity of campus placements. You must seek out opportunities on your own.
The course fee is not cheap. The total fee is around Rs 8 lakhs for an 8-month course which essentially takes place on weekends only.
As it is a certificate, not a degree, you may not get treated the same by employers.

So, the course is definitely good. However, doing it just for the brand name won't help. The corporate will think of the value and knowledge you bring to the table too.
