Yes, CUSAT does follow a Credit system. The University started following the credit system many years back. It was one of the first few universities which initiated the system in its curriculum in the early 2000s.

VII Semester | 85 out of 110 credits of Semesters I to V |
VIII Semester | 100 out of 132 credits of Semesters I to VI |
The conditions mentioned in the table above are required to be fulfilled by the students for promotion from one semester to the next one. The promotion of students at CUSAT is subject to the above-mentioned credit system followed by the institution.
