If you are trying to compare two colleges, such as NSIT and DTU, it is recommended to choose the one that is closer to your place. This will make it easier for you to commute, save time, and avoid any unnecessary expenses related to travel and accommodation.

However, when it comes to comparing NSUT (NSIT) and MNNIT Allahabad, NSUT (NSIT) does have an advantage. NSUT (NSIT) is considered one of the top engineering colleges in India, known for its excellent infrastructure, faculty, and research facilities. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, science, and technology.

On the other hand, MNNIT Allahabad is also a reputed engineering college but is located in a smaller city as compared to NSUT (NSIT). The city may not offer the same exposure and opportunities that Delhi can provide, especially in terms of internships, industrial visits, and campus placements.

Therefore, if you have the option to choose between NSUT (NSIT) and MNNIT Allahabad, it may be advisable to opt for NSUT (NSIT) if you are looking for a top-tier engineering college in a metropolitan city. However, this decision ultimately depends on your individual preferences and priorities, and you should weigh all the factors before making a final decision.

B.Tech Electrical Engineering, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad (2019)

You do not have to be so confused between these three institutes. The following points will help you clear most of your doubts.

  1. The term Electronics and Communication Engineering has become outdated. Since the education system and Indian engineering curriculum have not been updated for 40 years.
  2. As far as NSIT is concerned, it is a tier 1 engineering college so you should choose it. Many of the students who have graduated from this college become computer programmers or even managers in many industries.
  3. MNNIT is a tier 3 engineering college. Many of the degree holders go on to do clerical jobs in many service-based companies. A few years ago, it was a tier 2 college, but many NITs have lost their shine with well-known IITs.

Lastly, job-wise, several jobs are ballooning in the field of computer science engineering and electronics engineering mainly in private sectors. Jobs in the fields of mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering are quite less while other fields are almost zero in both government and private sectors.
