Changing your branch from Civil to ECE or EE at PEC Chandigarh can be a challenging process, but it is possible with the right strategy and effort. Here are some steps you can take to increase your chances of success:

  5. Connect with professors and seniors: You can reach out to professors and seniors from the ECE or EE branch and seek their guidance. They can offer valuable insights into the selection process and suggest ways to improve your profile.
  6. Prepare well for the selection process: Once you meet the eligibility criteria, you need to prepare well for the selection process, which may include an interview or a written test. You can seek help from mentors or coaching institutes to improve your performance.

Changing your branch at PEC Chandigarh can be a challenging process, but with the right strategy and effort, you can increase your chances of success. Studied at PEC Chandigarh (2019)

Most students change branches after their first year in engineering. It also happens in PEC Chandigarh. You can apply for the change in branch at the end of the first semester with having the requirements for it.

  • You should have the minimum CGPA in the previous semester.
  • Last year, the CGPA required for branch change was 8.0 and it can increase for the current year to 8.2.
  • The branch will only be allotted if there are available seats.
  • It is always advised to keep your CGPA as high as possible if you know you want to change your branch later.
  • The first student to shift from Civil to ECE had a CGPA of 9.89 as for EE the last person whose branch was changed stood around 8.8.

The records kept changing depending on the availability and the demand by the students. Therefore a good performance will ease your path for the change in the branch.
