IIEST Shibpur placement for Electrical Engineering is good. Recruiters offering core job profiles usually offer an average CTC of around INR 5 LPA. Some of the major recruiters from the Electrical Engineering field that visit the campus placement frequently are Larsen and Toubro, CESE, Haldia Petrochemicals, etc.

Students from EE also get recruited in non-core profiles. These job profiles usually have higher pay structure.

According to my friends studying at IIEST Shibpur, the electrical engineering branch is one of the well-known in the country.

The college is mainly known for its education quality, faculties, infrastructure, facilities, and most important on-campus placements.
IIEST Shibpur has left no stones unturned in grooming the overall personalities of the students and making the best out of them.
There are many pre-placement offers made by the college especially for the electrical engineering branch.
Prestigious companies visit the college like Maruti, TATA, Microsoft, and many others.
Total offers made during the recent placement drive of 2019-20 for the electrical branch was 50 providing the highest package of around INR 39 LPA.
