SRM University Chennai also known as SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST) offers good placement opportunities for students. The average package of SRM University is INR 7.92 LPA for placements 2023-24. The average package increased by 15.11% in 2024 compared to 2023 (INR 6.88 LPA).

Around 700+ recruiters hire students from SRM Chennai including big company giants like, IBM, Infosys, Honey Well, Air Asia, Aditya Birla Group, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Hyundai, Apollo, etc. The highest package of SRM University Chennai is INR 52 LPA (2023-24 Placements). Last year, the highest package was INR 57 LPA.

SRM University provides very good support to its students for placements. If you have done nothing much in the last four years but have worked quite hard in the CCC training, you can easily bag INR 6 to 7 lakhs per annum.

More than 150 different companies visit SRM and offer to begin from INR 3 LPA - 42 LPA.
There are also top 4 mass recruiters that include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant. Last year, about 5000 different offers came from these companies.
There are also other companies that offer a variety of roles and you can appear for up to 3 to 4 company exams in a day.

If you are good at coding with fluent knowledge of it, your chances of getting placed are quite high. You will surely do well. You should sit for the company that is worth your potential as SRM has rules regarding placements.

At the end of placement season, you will have about 2 to 3 offers in hand. You can then choose which company you would like to go for.
