MBA from SVKM's NMIMS

It is strongly advised to not consider XaHR for your educational pursuits. The return on investment for this institution is unsatisfactory and its remote location, along with the diminished brand name, makes it a less desirable option.

Regarding NMIMS Bangalore, it is an emerging institution that has the advantage of being located in a well-established area and having the well-known brand name of NMIMS Mumbai. For someone starting their educational journey, NMIMS Bangalore could be a reasonable choice. However, if you have other options, it is ultimately up to you to decide. If you scored 203 on your entrance exams, you have a decent chance of being admitted provided you perform well in your personal interview.

An NMAT score of 203 is very close to NMIMS Mumbai’s average cut-off. With this score, you have a lot of potential and should try with better preparation next year. But, there are still some chances for an NMIMS Mumbai call with this.

Considering the option of colleges given in the question, the points below give a brief overview of them, along with some key highlights.

  • Both NMIMS Bangalore and XIMB-HR are average, falling under the not-so-good but not so bad category.
  • XIMB HR has a good alumni base in the institute, but not as good as its sister colleges like the HRM program of XLRI, NMIMS, SCMHRD, TISS, etc.
  • Both NMIMS Bangalore and XIMB have a high fee structure and medium average packages offered. So, the return on investments for both institutes is not so great, which may cause a duality in your mind.
  • With 203 in NMAT, you should definitely try for the next year, if you have sufficient time for preparation and no burden for the same. Try for better colleges in future attempts.

Therefore, the above points depict the condition of the two institutes and hence, prove that you should definitely go for a retake.
