Which one is better, NIT Sikkim EC or NIT Meghalaya EC?

Both NIT Sikkim and NIT Meghalaya are decent institutes for the EC branch. But, considering the placements of both institutes, NIT Sikkim is a better choice.

• Considering the college rankings, NIT Meghalaya is ahead of NIT Sikkim. But, the placement of NIT Sikkim EC is much better than that of NIT Meghalaya EC.
• In the on-campus placements of NIT Sikkim, even reputed companies like INTEL visit and hire a considerable number of students. Other than these, pool campusing options are always in hand for students in EC.

• The facilities at NIT Sikkim are great. Like every NIT, it has an NKN broadband connection throughout the campus which gives excellent speeds in LAN. Maximum speeds of up to 100-150 Mbps can be obtained in it.
• The faculty in NIT Sikkim is very good, most of them being from IITs themselves.
• The campus of NIT Sikkim is situated in an amazing place, having an excellent atmosphere all around. The beauty of the town is mesmerizing. Although there is no permanent campus for NIT Sikkim, students don’t face any major lack of facility.

EC at NIT Sikkim is a better option, considering the placements in recent times.
