IIIT Guwahati had a successful placement drive for the academic year 2018-19. A total of 56 recruiters visited the campus for the recruitment process. The students got placed with companies like TCS, AlgomaMills, Conesity, Wipro, Infosys, TechJect, IBM, Nayan, LnT Infotech, Tray, Jio, Zaloni, Byjus, etc. Also, many students choose to pursue higher studies at the University of New York, University of Pennsylvania, Brown Davis, University of Wisconsin Madison, and the National University of Science, Singapore.
