Which should I choose for CSE, NIT, JSR, or NIT, Rourkela, or IIEST, Shibpur or JU? I am confused.

JU ranks as one of the top 10 universities in India and is furthermore the second-best engineering institute in Eastern India after IIT KGP, of course. Hence it should be your top preference.

Jadavpur University is quite underrated. It belongs to the same league as NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal. the league. The main challenge here is that all the seats get occupied by the WBJEE graders which is a high percentile of WB board graduates. Students from across the country don’t get much of a chance to get admission there.

As for the placements, CSE placements at JU are remarkable. Students are offered good packages in highly reputed companies. Here are the recent placement statistics for JU.
